The village is located in the west of the Novgorod region, 1 km east of the administrative border with the Pskov region , on the left bank of the Shelon River, a kilometer upstream of the mouth of its tributary Sitney . On the opposite bank of Sheloni is the village of Porozhki , one and a half kilometers to the north, on the River Sitne - the village of Bystersko . There is a chapel in Vitebsk [2] .
History
It was first mentioned in the scribe books of the Shelonsky fivefolds of Novgorod land in 1498, and belonged to the Ilemensky churchyard [2] [3] .
Transport
The road to the village is from the A116 highway ( Veliky Novgorod - Soltsy - Porkhov - Pskov ) 4 km long from the bridge over the Sitnya river in the village of Sitnya .
