Geography
The territory of the rural settlement is located in the southeast of the Novgorod region on the Valdai Upland in the southern part of the Valdai National Park , southeast of Demyansk at the administrative border with the Tver region . The territory of the municipality extends to the northern and western shores of the Polnovsky reach of Lake Seliger .
History
Polnovsky rural settlement was established in accordance with the law of the Novgorod region of November 11, 2005 No. 559-OZ [3] . Since April 2010, 17 settlements (villages) have entered the Polnovsky rural settlement from the abolished Dubrovsky rural settlement [4] .
