Peace Square is the central square of the city of Mytishchi .
History and location
Until 2006, it was called Lenin Square. It was formed in the late 1950s as the central square of New Mytishchi . In 1960, a monument to V.I. was unveiled in the square square in front of the Rodina cinema Lenin sculptor P. Yatsino . In 2006, a fountain was installed behind the monument, which has become a favorite vacation spot for citizens.
For 2009, it was the central square of the city of Mytishchi, there were demonstrations, rallies, theatrical processions, celebrations of the City Day.
For 2015, a parking lot is located on the site of the square.
