Ombella-Mpoko ( French: Ombella-M'Poko ; Sango Sêse tî kömändâ-kötä tî Ömbëlä-Pökö ) is a prefecture in the south-west of the Central African Republic .

Geography
It borders on the south with Lobae prefecture , in the west with the prefectures of Mamber-Kadei , Nana-Mamber and Ouam-Pend , in the north with the prefecture of Uam , in the east with the prefecture of Kemo , in the southeast with the Democratic Republic of the Congo along the Ubanga River . In the south of the prefecture is the capital district of Bangui .
