History
In the early 2000s, Squier again began to deal with what, according to their later recognition [2] , should be done by other companies producing musical equipment. Namely, several electric guitars were released for more aggressive playing styles. The guitars of the Squier Showmaster series, like the HM (Heavy Metal) guitars of the 1980s, were instruments without a cover plate , with rigid tremolo without clamping, several pickup configurations, black accessories and an upturned head.
The ultra-low tuning provided by seven-string electric guitars corresponded to the musical tastes of that time, so Squier also released the seven-string Showmaster guitar. However, the release lasted a very short time, and the model itself was short-lived.
