Geography

The city is located approximately 27 km northeast of the center of Dallas and is a suburb of it.

Climate

Plaino is located in the zone of humid subtropical climate.

Population

According to the 2010 census, 259,841 people lived in the city. According to preliminary estimates, by 2018, the population of Plaino has grown to 288,061 people, which is 9 among the cities of the state and 69 in the United States.
