Nikolai Nikolaevich Bryzin ( September 25, 1916 , Kostroma - November 14, 2005 , Kurgan ) - Soviet party, statesman, first secretary of the Kurgan Industrial Regional Committee of the CPSU (1963-1964).

Biography
Nikolai Bryzin was born on September 25, 1916 in the family of a military doctor in the city of Kostroma, Kostroma province .
In 1931, he graduated from the seven-year school and joined the ranks of the Komsomol . In the same year he entered the Metalworkers' Faculty at the Worker Metalworker plant in Kostroma, after which he worked as a turner for a short time.
In 1933 he entered the Ivanovo Power Engineering Institute , which he graduated in 1938 , receiving a diploma with honors and a specialty as an engineer in the design, construction and operation of power plants.
In November 1938 he was drafted into the army, which he served in the Primorsky Territory. After serving in the army from 1941 to 1949, he worked at the Kostroma TPP as a duty technician, an engineer on duty, the head of the turbine workshop (since 1944 ), and secretary of the TPP party committee (since 1947 ).
Since 1944, a member of the CPSU (b), since 1952 - the Communist Party .
In 1949, he was the second secretary of the Sverdlovsk District Committee of the CPSU (B.) Of Kostroma.
In 1949-1951 - First Secretary of the Sverdlovsk District Committee of the CPSU (B.) Kostroma.
From the end of 1951 to May 1952 he studied at retraining courses for secretaries of district and city committees at the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks in Moscow. After their graduation, he was sent to the Kurgan party organization and approved in June 1952 as deputy head of the industrial and transport department of the regional committee of the CPSU, in 1954 he headed the department.
In 1958-1962 - First Secretary of the Kurgan City Committee of the CPSU.
In 1960 he graduated in absentia from the Higher Party School of the Central Committee of the CPSU.
In the years 1962−1963. - Second Secretary of the Kurgan Regional Committee of the CPSU. His predecessor in this post was Gennady Alexandrovich Zhuravlev .
January 9, 1963 - December 22, 1964 - First Secretary of the Kurgan Industrial Regional Committee of the CPSU.
From 1964 to 1970 - the second secretary of the Kurgan Regional Committee of the CPSU. Anatoly Serafimovich Sennikov became his successor.
In 1970-1985 - First Deputy Chairman of the Kurgan Oblast Executive Committee.
Since 1985, retired.
While on a well-deserved rest, Nikolai Nikolaevich was actively engaged in social activities, from March 11, 1989 to December 13, 2001 he headed the Kurgan City Council of war and labor veterans [1] .
During the period of labor N.N. Bryzin was elected:
- deputy of the city and regional Council of deputies of workers of the city of Kostroma and the city of Kurgan
- Deputy of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR (1963, Kurgan District; 1967, Soviet District)
- delegate of the XXI , XXII and XXIII congresses of the CPSU
Nikolai Nikolaevich Bryzin died on November 14, 2005 [2] in Kurgan , and was buried in Kurgan [3] .
