Biography

Apprentice F.F. Eckert . From 1918 he was a soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra, from 1928-1945 of the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra of the All-Union Radio. He played in Persimphans (1922-1932). In 1938-1979 he taught at the Moscow Conservatory (professor since 1944), at the same time in 1944-1956 - at the Musical Pedagogical Institute. Gnesins. The author of the book “Questions of the theory and practice of playing the horn” (M., 1957, 21965), scientific and methodological articles, plays of the educational and pedagogical repertoire.

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1944). Honored Artist of the RSFSR ( 1966 ).

He was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery .
