History

The idea of this project was born by the publisher of the newspaper Novy Vzglyad, Evgeny Dodolev, as a response to the reaction of subscribers and readers, who in the editorial post asked questions about various aspects of the biographies of socially significant contemporaries.

Nine exclusive interviews were performed by the master of the genre Andrei Vandenko , Yevgeny Dodolev wrote and wrote an afterword about the author's understanding of the phenomenon of the cult of personalities and is not a co-author of the interview.

As readers of the newspaper Argumenty i Fakty noted many years later [2] :

There are interviews with many famous people at that time ...

Moskovsky Komsomolets noted in September 2010 [3] :

Vitaly Korotich in the pages of the collection "Their Kremlin" talentedly and medically accurately described throwing a journalist

Story

The plot as such is missing - the chapters are arranged in alphabetical order.

The collection contains active participants in the post-perestroika policy:

  • Victor Alksnis
  • Elena Bonner [4]
  • Dmitry Vasiliev
  • Vladimir Zhirinovsky , who in the early 90s actively collaborated with the “New Look” as a columnist [5]
  • Oleg Kalugin
  • Vitaly Korotich , during his work in the USA he led a column in the epistolary genre in the “New Look” [6]
  • Albert Makashov

One of the heroes of the collection, the former editor-in-chief of the magazine " Spark " V. Korotich, emphasized that under one cover collected characters are difficult to compatible [7] :

Such is the degree of mutual distrust that the phrase “civil war” involuntarily comes to mind. Although these are all Soviet people.
