Radio Chuvash ( Radio Chuvashia of Russia , Chuvashradio , Chuvash Radio , Chuvash. Chavash Radio ) is a subdivision of the Chuvashiya State TV and Radio Company that produces and broadcasts radio programs in the Chuvash and Russian languages throughout the Chuvash Republic.

History
In October 1926, the first radio program was carried out in Cheboksary in the Chuvash and Russian languages. Regular broadcasting of Radio Chuvashia began on March 8, 1932 [1] .
In March 1932, under the Council of People's Commissars of the Chuvash ASSR, a Committee on radio and radio information was created. In March 1934, renamed the Committee on Radio and Radio Broadcasting. Since March 1946 - Committee on Radioification and Radio Information under the Council of Ministers of the Chuvash ASSR. From June 1949 - Committee on Radio Information at the Council of Ministers of the Chuvash ASSR. From August 1953 - Department of Radio Information of the Ministry of Culture of the Chuvash ASSR. From May 1957, the functions of broadcasting in the Chuvash Republic were transferred to the Committee on Radio Broadcasting and Television under the Council of Ministers of the Chuvash ASSR.
In August 1998, the federal state unitary enterprise "The State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Chuvashia" was established .
In 2002, Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Chuvashia" retooked radio broadcasting equipment based on computer technology and developed a computer radio network with Internet access via a dedicated line. The introduction of computerized tapeless radio technology and the automation of planning, control and playout radio using software « Digiton DT-FM ».
