Biography
Came from the nobility of the Chernigov province . One of the seven generals who were born in the family of V. A. Gudovich . He was educated in the Page Corps , and entered military service in 1770.
He took part in the Russian-Turkish war of 1787-1792 and on April 21, 1789, for the difference, was promoted to colonel in the Kiev Carabinier Regiment . In July of the following year he headed the regiment with which he distinguished himself during the assault on Ishmael . March 25, 1791 Gudovich was awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree (No. 422 according to the list of cavaliers Sudravsky and No. 809 Grigorovich - Stepanov)

January 1, 1795 received the rank of foreman. February 22, 1797 by order of Paul I, "for laziness" expelled from service. He died in 1806.
