He graduated from LIKA (1964), the Faculty of Cameraman VGIK (1972, workshop P. Nogin). From 1958 to 67 - assistant cameraman, from 1967 to 79 - cameraman and director of the Sverdlovsk Film Studio. Honored Artist of the Buryat ASSR (1973).
