Biography

Hajduk

Joshko got into the main team at the age of 17, then the head coach of the team was Slavko Lustica . In the championship of Yugoslavia, Gluich made his debut on September 7, 1969 , in a guest match against the Sloboda team from the city of Tuzla , Joshko replaced in the match instead of Ivica Khlevnyak . In the game "Hajduk" suffered the first defeat in the championship, losing to "Sloboda" with a score of 2: 0. [3] Joshko scored his debut goal for Hajduk on December 14 in a away game against Bor , which ended in a 1-1 draw. [4] During the season, Yoshko played 8 matches in the championship and scored 2 goals. [five]

In his second season for the team, Gluich also rarely got into the main squad, having played only 8 matches in the championship, [6] following which Hajduk became the champion. The previous championship title "Hajduku" won 16 years ago, in 1955 . In the season 1971/1972, Joshko became the team’s main player, that season, instead of Slavko Lustica, the team’s head coach was Tomislav Ivich , who had previously worked with the Hajduk youth team. In September 1971, Hajduk was to start in the first round of the European Cup , the Spanish Valencia became the rival in the first round. In both matches, which took place on September 15 and 29 , Gluich did not get into the main team, but he came on as a substitute. In the first match in Spain, the teams drew 0-0, and at home Hajduk managed to score a goal, Perod Nadevezha scored , but the Spaniards also answered with a goal, as a result, a draw was recorded in the match and thanks to a goal scored in a strange field “ Valencia ”reached the next round. After relegating from European competition, Hajduk was able to fully concentrate on the national championship. But compared with the previous championship, for Hajduk the season was completely unsuccessful, the team took only 10th place. The champion was last year’s bronze medalist Sarajevo Zheleznichar , for whom the champion’s title was the first in the team’s history. Gluich, becoming the main player, played 25 matches in the championship and scored 2 goals. [7]

However, in the 1972/1973 season, Joshko lost his place in the first team, largely due to the fact that Tomislav Ivich, thanks to whom Gluich played the key, left the team and became the head coach of the Šibenik club, and the new team coach Branko Zhebets did not trust Yoshka in the line-up. As a result, Gluich played only in 11 championship matches, as well as in three games of the UEFA Cup Winners Cup . [8] In 1973, “Hajduk” was headed by Tomislav Ivich, but after the end of the 1973/1974 season, Joshko left the team and went to the Netherlands to play for the Go Ahead Eagles club.
