Operations
The airport contains two passenger terminal buildings, one of which is used to service business class passengers. The airport overwhelmingly serves general aviation flights; regular commercial flights are operated on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Devils Lake Regional Airport covers an area of 262 hectares , is located at an altitude of 444 meters above sea level and operates two runways [1] :
- 13/31 measuring 1679 x 46 meters with asphalt pavement;
- 3/21 measuring 1314 x 23 meters with asphalt pavement.
During the period from November 30, 2006 to November 30, 2007, the Devils Lake Regional Airport handled 23,342 take-offs and landings of aircraft (an average of 63 operations daily), of which 86% were for general aviation , 10% for air taxi flights and 4% were military aviation flights. [one]
