The village is located in Osogovo , to the south-east of the administrative center of the community - the city of Kratovo . Height above sea level - 969 m.
History
It is mentioned in 1019 as part of the Skopsky Diocese of the Ohrid Archdiocese [1] In 1900, 120 people lived here, all Bulgarians ( Macedonians ) are Christians [2] . In 1905, 80 villagers were parishioners of the church of the Bulgarian Diocese [3] .
In 1903, members of the revolutionary movement of the Bulgarians in Macedonia, including one of the leaders of the uprising - Nicola Dechev and the revolutionary poet Rosenthal, Julius Caesar , died here.
