Chong Unchang ( cor. 정운찬 ? , 鄭雲燦? ; March 21, 1947 in the city of Kondju of the Korean province of Chuncheon Namdo ) - Prime Minister of South Korea , a professor at Seoul National University , previously from July 2002 to July 2006 was president of this university.

Chong Unchkhan was nominated for Prime Minister on September 3, 2009 by country's President Lee Myonbak , on September 28, Chon Unchkhan took over the premiership, replacing the previous head of government, Han Sinsu [1] .
