Igor Aleksandrovich Burganov (born July 14, 1973 , Moscow ) is a sculptor , Honored Artist of the Russian Federation , Ph.D. Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts [1] . Professor at the International Academy of Architecture, architect, jeweler. The son of the sculptor Alexander Burganov .

Biography
Lives and works in Moscow. He studied at the Moscow secondary art school . He graduated from the Moscow State Art and Industrial University named after S. G. Stroganov .
Igor Burganov conducts a lot of scientific work, has published a number of articles in specialized journals, is the author of books and textbooks on art history.
Laureate of the Moscow Architecture Prize for the implementation of his concept of the Blue Bird residential area [2] together with the architect Lyutomsky Nikolai Vadimovich. Defended - Ph.D. degree in art history, dissertation on the topic “Small museums at the end of the 20th century” [3] . In 2003, by decree of President Putin V.V. [4] he was awarded the title Honored Artist of the Russian Federation . Professor MGHPU them. S. G. Stroganova and Professor at the International Academy of Architecture .
I. A. Burganov led and took a direct part in the team of authors to create:
- the monument “A. S. Pushkin ”in Washington (USA);
- compositions "Pushkin and Natalie" on the Old Arbat in Moscow;
- the monument “Russian Citizens of Russia”, in the area of Quante-Liege (Belgium) [5] ;
- sculptural composition “Bird of Happiness” in front of the Moscow Choral Synagogue;
- the monument “F. Gnesina ”on Povarskaya Street in Moscow.
- monument "Khimans who gave their lives for their homeland 1941-1945"
Participant and organizer of major international exhibitions in Switzerland (“UN in Geneva” - 2004), in Belgium (“Burganov's House in Brussels” - 2004), in France (“Tradition” Paris - 2007).
