Being the official newspaper of state authorities and local governments in the Donetsk region , Life informs readers about the activities of the regional and country authorities, deputies of all levels, publishes reports on the sessions of the regional council, regional council boards and regional administrations, places texts of orders of the regional administration and chairman of the regional council .

The newspaper also covers the activities of cities and districts of the Donetsk region, presents a broad panorama of events abroad, news of politics, business, science, culture and sports.

"Life" is considered one of the main sources of information about the Donetsk region in Ukraine and abroad.

The daily circulation is 22,000 copies.
