Story
The production commission rejected the prototype of the new serial tractor . Three groups have been created, which in a short time must submit their versions of the prototype of the future car. Experienced designer Herman Baklanov is in a state of constant conflict with the management of the design bureau . According to the survey of operators, he got an idea of the characteristic design flaws of the equipment used and wants to create a modern tractor on which it will be convenient and pleasant to work. Its competitors, the Baranova and Kharin groups, chose a simpler way for minor improvements in the base model.
In the competition, thanks to the principled intervention of the head of the design bureau, Flyagin, the talented and harmonious work of Baklanov-Neverova won. She was recognized as promising, but requiring a significant upgrade of the equipment available at the plant. Considering the real economic conditions , the director offered to manufacture the Kharina tractor. The head of the design bureau Flyagin promised to fight for the Baklanov model.
