Geography

The territory of the rural settlement is located in the west of the Novgorod region. The Koloshka River flows through the territory .

History

In 1471, in the region of the present villages of Skirino and Velebitsy, on the banks of the Sheloni River, the Battle of Shelon took place , which predetermined the end of the Novgorod Republic .

Vybitsky rural settlement was formed in accordance with the law of the Novgorod region of November 11, 2005 No. 559-OZ . Since April 12, 2010, the Vybitsky rural settlement was re-formed by combining the former Vybitsky and Nevsky rural settlements ^[3] .

Since April 2010, Vybitsky rural settlement included 16 villages from the abolished Nevsky rural settlement : Belets , Bolshoy Danilovo , Velebitsy , Dedkovo , Zalesye , Kryuchkovo , Mirnaya , Mikhalkino , Nevskoye , Novye , Pesochki , Podberezie , Skirino , Smehnovo , Khvoynaya , Chudintsev Slides .

Transport

On the territory of the rural settlement, pass the section of the P48 highway between the city of Soltsy and the village of Volot . The railway station in Myakovo on the line of the October railway Bologoe-Moskovskoe - Valdai - Staraya Russa - Dno-1 .

Attractions

The monument of landscape gardening art is the park of the family estate of the princes Vasilchikovs in the village of Vybity.
Commemorative crosses in the villages of Skirino and Velebitsa, dedicated to the Battle of Shelon .
