• English district attorney is the US public prosecutor (prosecutor).
• English attorney-at-law is a lawyer in several countries. Until the end of the XIX century, including - Charge d'Affaires at the courts of common law in England ; a lawyer preparing the case for the hearing, compiling and filing all the necessary papers , but not speaking publicly before the court; since 1881 , the title of attorney has been replaced by the title of solicitors.
