David Borisovich Borovsky ( 1926 - 2004 ) - Russian theater artist, graphic artist.

Biography

In 1945 - 1952 he studied in Leningrad , at the State Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Repin by K.I. Rudakov and V.M. Konashevich . Member of all-Union and international exhibitions of Soviet graphics in Poland , East Germany , Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria .

In 1954, the Tretyakov Gallery included a number of works by Borovsky in the permanent exhibition of the "Soviet" department.

In 1990, the artist leaves the graphics and completely switches to the painting technique. The main topics of his work are - ballet, portrait, landscape, childhood.

Borovsky's works are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery , the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.
