History
The title of the album was finally confirmed on September 1, 2009 in the promo video [17] of the new single “ Pussy ”, as well as in a recent interview with Paul Landers to RockOne magazine.
The album was finished in Stockholm [15] .
In July 2009, the title track, "Liebe ist für alle da", leaked to the Internet, along with various promotional materials.
On August 14, 2009, photographs taken during the recording of the album were posted on the official Rammstein website [18] . In the same month, the title Freud und Leid (Joy and Sorrow), which appeared on several websites as the name of the new album, was refuted by Richard Kruspe .
8 song titles were published on August 13, 2009 [19] . On August 19, all 11 track titles became known.
Richard Kruspe said that “B ********” is not interpreted as “Bastard” (“Bastard”), but as “Bückstabü”, meaning nothing of the word created by the group; the listener is invited to independently choose the semantic meaning. Kruspe confirmed this in the Metal Hammer podcast [20] .
The first single from the album, “Pussy”, complemented by the song “Rammlied” [21] was released on September 18, 2009 in Europe and September 19 in the United States. The single was accompanied by a clip for the song “Pussy”, which is very scandalous, and the genitals of the band’s members are shown at the end of the clip, Richard Kruspe said in an interview about this “without comment”, in general, the main idea of the clip is to ridicule German ideals, stereotypes , porn industry and other things. However, after the release of “Making of Pussy”, it became known that understudies were used in the video [22] .
In an interview, Paul Landers said that tracks that were not included in the album will appear as additions to singles, and a special edition of the album with 5 bonus tracks will be released. He also said that the next single from the album is likely to be “ Ich tu dir weh ” [23] .
Continuing to shock the public, the group announced the release of a limited edition of the album, equipped with a box with accessories for intimate games, as well as six dildos, supposedly corresponding to the real sizes of the genitals of the band members, handcuffs and grease [24] .
On October 12, 2009, four days before the release in Europe, the album was posted on the Internet. At the time of the release of the album, there were much more than eleven. Therefore, five additional songs were included in the second disc.
The group was criticized by the state media control committee for youth-friendly content ( German: Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien ). This committee announced the song “Ich tu dir weh” praising violence and sadomasochism . In addition, one of the photographs inside the booklet depicts Richard, ready to hit a naked woman, which is also considered by the committee as an unacceptable design for distribution among young people [25] . On November 16, the group released a new version of the disc without a forbidden song and photograph. On April 5, 2016, the group claimed in court compensation of 66 thousand euros for the inclusion of the album Liebe ist fr alle da on the German restrictive list [16] . The Cologne Federal Court ruled that this restricts the right of musicians to express themselves guaranteed by the German constitution, and the ban was lifted. However, while it was in force, the musicians had to partially destroy, partially keep 85,000 disks in the warehouse and incur losses due to this.
On December 21, a video was released for the song “Ich tu dir weh”, which premiered on visit-x.net [26] . The director was Jonas Akerlund. February 8, 2010 in Europe and February 9 in America released the second single from the album - "Ich tu dir weh".
April 23, 2010 was the web presentation of the third single from the album - " Haifisch ".
The song "Waidmanns Heil" was included in the soundtrack of the computer game Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock , released in September 2010.

Song Contents
Rammlied
The Ramm Song serves as an introduction and announces the beginning of the album.
- “For someone who knows how to wait patiently, the reward will always be power
- Now the end to all expectations, listen to one tradition ... "
This implies a long period before the release of the new Rammstein album, when the audience patiently waited for the new album.
Ich tu dir weh
This harsh song focuses on relationships that are emotionally similar to the extreme form of sadism. The lyrics served as the reason that it was banned, and the album itself later came out in a special limited edition.
Waidmanns Heil
This song talks about doe hunting, which can be considered a metaphor for hunting a woman.
B ********
The name of the song stands for "Bückstabü". This word was invented by the group itself and can not be translated into Russian . In an interview with Metal Hammer magazine, Richard Kruspe explained that each person will understand the name of the song as he wants [28] .
Wiener Blut
The name of the song translates as "Vienna blood." The song “Wiener Blut” was based on the real story of Joseph Fritzl , an Austrian electrical engineer from the city of Amstetten , Austria . In April 2008, Joseph was arrested on charges of forcibly confining his youngest daughter, Elizabeth Fritzl, who he had kept in an underground soundproof bunker in the basement of his own house since 1984 . However, she was subjected to domestic violence by her father since 1977 . Gradually, their relationship began to be sexual in nature - incest, as a result of which Elizabeth gave birth to 7 children.
Führe mich
This song is about a person who suffers from a split personality and is potentially dangerous to society. The song is included in the soundtrack of Lars von Trier 's film “The Nymphomaniac ”.
Donaukinder
The song is dedicated to the ecological disaster in Baia Mara on January 30, 2000 [29] , when the plant of the Romanian-Australian company Aurul released more than 100 thousand cubic meters of water polluted by heavy metal compounds into the Danube . Then more than 100 tons of dead fish were caught, and the catastrophe was dubbed the “second Chernobyl” [30] .
Mein Land and Gib mir deine Augen
The song “ Mein Land ” was recorded for this album, but since it was still unfinished, it was not included in it. However, the group released this song later on November 11, 2011 on the single of the same name and December 2, 2011 in the collection of the best songs Made in Germany 1995–2011 . Also on June 11, 2011, an unfinished demo of this song appeared on the network, and on May 23, 2011 a video was shot for this song, which premiered on November 11, 2011. The group performed this track only twice at closed concerts in Berlin in 2011.
The track “Gib mir deine Augen” was also recorded for Liebe ist für alle da , and it also turned out to be unfinished. On October 20, 2011, this demo in poor quality appeared on the Internet. The track "Gib mir deine Augen" was released on the single "Mein Herz Brennt", it relies on another demo song - "Schenk Mir was".
