The Kondomian Shor dialect is the Turkic idiom of the North Altai group . It is a dialect of the North Altai language , is closer to it than the Lower Chuly dialect .

It is traditionally described as a Kondoma dialect of the Shor language , however, the so-called Mras dialect of the Shor language belongs to the Khakass group .
Details
The Kondomian Shor dialect is common in the areas of the Kondoma and Tom rivers, on the border of the Kemerovo region, Khakassia and the Altai Republic.
The main dialects (or dialects) are Nizhny Rassian, Mundybashsky (Kalar), Anthropic, Upper Kondomsky, Pyzas.
Like all North Altai languages and dialects , the Kondoma Shor dialect Pratürkic -d- reflects as -j-: ayқ 'leg' (in Mrasian azaқ ).
The contrast of voiced and deaf consonants in the absolute beginning and end of the word is removed in favor of the deaf, while in the intervocal position the deaf are successively voiced.
