Dalian National University ( Eng. Dalian National University , Chinese. 大连 民族 大学 ) is a university located in the city of Dalian , Liaoning Province ( PRC ).

Geographically, the university is located in the center of the Dalian Economic and Technological Open Area, created to serve the Bohai Ring. This higher educational institution is run by the National Committee on Nationalities of the PRC, and is the only institution of its kind in the Northeast of the PRC.
Content
Creation History
It was officially opened in 1997 , although construction began back in 1984 . Since April 2006, it has been jointly managed by the National Committee on Nationalities of China, the government of Liaoning Province and the government of Dalian .
University Structure
It has 14 divisions, including:
- Institute of Economics and Management [1] ;
- Institute of Physics and Mathematics [2] ;
- Institute of Informatization;
- Institute of Foreign Languages and Cultures [3] ;
- Institute of Design [4] ;
- Institute of Landscape Construction;
- Institute of International Cultural Exchanges;
- Institute of Physical Culture, etc.
The university is training in 40 different specialties. Representatives of 56 nationalities of China study at the university. Representatives of national minorities make up more than 60% of university students.
The total number of students is about 12 thousand. The university has about 1000 employees, among them 640 people - this is the teaching staff.
International cooperation
The University is actively cooperating with universities in other countries, in particular, from the USA , Great Britain , Japan , the Republic of Korea , New Zealand (in total about 30 foreign partners). Joint training programs for specialists in the “2 + 2”, “3 + 1”, “4 + 1” systems are being implemented.
