“ Two Funny Gooses ” is a short animated cartoon shot in 1970 at the Soyuzmultfilm studio directed by Leonid Nosyrev [1] .

The third of the three plots of the animated almanac " Merry-Go-Round " number 2.
The cartoon was shot on the playful song "Funny Geese." The words were written by the poetess Maria Klokova [2] around 1927 based on Ukrainian folk songs. After the arrest of her husband, Maria Petrovna became “the wife of the enemy of the people”, the poem ceased to be fun [3] and her authorship was “forgotten”. Later, a version appeared that it was a folk Ukrainian song [4] . Mikhail Krasev put the poem to music [5] .
