Biography
In 1870 he graduated from a commercial school. Repeatedly participated in amateur and semi-professional performances (Karlusha - vaudeville “Bakery” by Peter Karatygin , Schastlivtsev in “ Forest ” by Alexander Ostrovsky ).
In 1880-1883, he was an actor of the Alexandria Theater (he made his debut in the roles: Plato - “ Truth is Good, but Happiness is Better ”, Ostrovsky, Karandyshev - “ Dowry ”, Khloponin - “Malice of the Day” by Alexei Potekhin ).
After some time, having left the structure of the imperial theaters , he worked in private St. Petersburg clubs and suburban theaters, played in the St. Petersburg theaters Nemetti and Fars, where he was since 1896 an entrepreneur on shares with Simon Saburov and other artists. He translated the plays from French. He played roles in farces popular in those years - “Lady from Maxim”, “Controller of sleeping cars”, “Evil spirit” and others. He performed in the provinces (entreprise of Alexandra Dyukova in Kharkov , “1st Partnership of Russian actors” under the leadership of Modest Pisarev and Vasily Andreev-Burlak ).
Roles: Schastlivtsev, Bulanov (“ Forest ”), Repetilov and Molchalin (“ Woe from Wit ”), Cheglov-Sokovin (“The Bitter Fate” of Alexei Pisemsky ), etc.
Son - theater and film actor Boris Gorin-Goryainov (1883-1944).
He was buried in the Smolensk Orthodox cemetery .
