Alexander Vladimirovich Pertsev (born August 6, 1954 , Nizhny Tagil , Sverdlovsk Region , USSR ) is a Soviet and Russian philosopher , Doctor of Philosophy ( 1992 ), professor and dean (since 1995 ) of the Faculty of Philosophy of Ural State University . Vice-rector of USU for work with territories and pre-university training. Vice President of the Russian Philosophical Society (since 1999 ).

Biography
School number 32 in Nizhny Tagil graduated with a gold medal. He entered the Faculty of Philosophy of the Ural State University, which he successfully graduated in 1976 with a degree in Philosophy. After graduation, he began teaching at the Department of the History of Philosophy of USU.
In 1981, at Ural State University, he defended his thesis on philosophy “The Opposition of the Dialectical-Materialistic and Philosophical-Anthropological Principles of Social Cognition”, in 1992 - a doctoral thesis on “Proletarian Positivism: The Political Being of Philosophy”. In 1988, the USSR State Committee for Public Education awarded the academic title of associate professor (in the department of the history of philosophy), and in 1998 the Higher Attestation Commission - the academic title of professor (in the department of the history of philosophy).
In 1984 - 1985, he trained for ten months at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Vienna (supervisor - Professor G. Pöltner).
In 1995, he was elected dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at Ural State University, and currently also works as vice-rector of the university for work with territories and pre-university training.
Since 1999, he has been Vice President of the Russian Philosophical Society. Also in 1999, he was Executive Director of the Second All-Russian Philosophical Congress (Yekaterinburg).
At the Faculty of Philosophy, USU, he teaches courses:
- "Modern Western Philosophy";
- “History of anthropological teachings”;
- "Anthropologism as a worldview";
- "Actual problems of historical and philosophical science."
