Content
Geography
The municipality is located in the central part of the Sverdlovsk region . It borders on the north, east and southeast with the municipality of Alapaevskoe , in the west with the Gornouralsk urban district , in the south with the Rezhov urban district . The total area of the municipality of the city of Alapayevsk is 1081.98 sq. Km. The main waterway on the territory of the municipality: the Neiva River (tributary of the Nitsa ).
History
The municipal formation Alapayevsk city was formed on December 17, 1995 according to the results of the local referendum [3] . It includes the city of Alapayevsk and the territories and settlements subordinate to the Alapayevsk City Council.
The municipal formation Alapayevsk city was included into the regional register of municipal formations on November 10, 1996 under No. 32, into the state register of municipal formations of the Russian Federation on October 27, 2005 under No. RU66354000.
The regional laws of October 12, 2004 No. 102-OZ “On the Establishment of Municipal Borders of the City of Alapayevsk and the Granting of City Status to the City” and on July 12, 2007 No. 85-OZ “On the Borders of Municipalities located in the Sverdlovsk Region” in accordance with the requirements of the federal law of the border of the municipality, a description of the borders and a schematic map of the borders, the municipality is endowed with the status of a city district [4] [5]
