Municipal formation Alapaevskoye is an urban district in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia . Refers to the Eastern Administrative District .

Administrative center: the urban-type settlement Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha , however, the local authorities of the municipality are located in the city of Alapaevsk.

From the point of view of the administrative-territorial structure of the region , the Alapaevskoye municipality, together with the Makhnevsky municipality, is located within the boundaries of the Alapaevskiy administrative-territorial unit .

Geography

Alapaevskoye municipality is located in the central part of the Sverdlovsk region on the eastern slope of the Middle Urals , at the border of two physical and geographical areas: the Trans-Ural Plain and the West Siberian Lowland . The territory is 5100 square meters. km, length from west to east 120 km, from south to north 78 km. It borders on Rezhevsky , Gornouralsky , Verkhnyaya Salda , Nizhny Salda , Turinsky and Artyomovsky urban districts, Irbitsky and Makhnevsky municipalities.

History

On January 1, 2006, as a result of the transformation of the Alapaevsky district , the Alapaevsky municipal formation was formed . By the decision of the Duma of the municipality No. 67 dated November 28, 2006, the Charter of the municipality and the name: Alapaevsky municipality were adopted.

On January 1, 2009, on the basis of the Law of the Sverdlovsk Region dated June 9, 2008 No. 28-OZ “On the division of the Alapaevsky municipality and the allocation of municipalities formed as a result of this division with the status of a city district” ^{[2], the} Alapaevsk municipality was divided into two municipalities endowed with the status of an urban district : the municipal formation Alapaevskoye and Makhnevskoye municipal formation . The administrative centers of the divided entities were the urban-type settlement Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha (Alapaevskoye) and the urban-type settlement Makhnevo (Makhnevskoye) ^[3] .

Abolished settlements

On August 2, 2019, the Law of Sverdlovsk Region No. 65-OZ abolished the village of Babushkino ^[13] .
On December 19, 2016, by the Law of the Sverdlovsk Region No. 143-OZ, the village of Shvetsova was annexed to the village of Kirovsky ^[14] .
On November 27, 2001, the villages of Bobrovsky and October were abolished on the territory of the district ^[15] .
