Traveling companion bird [1] ( Latin: Pycnoptilus floccosus ) is an Australian species of passerine birds from the family of spinebeaks ( Acanthizidae ), distinguished into the monotypic genus of fellow travelers ( Pycnoptilus ) [2] . Body length - 17.5 cm, wing length - 6.2 cm, tail length - 2.6 cm [3] . The plumage of the bird is brown and gray [3] . Inhabits temperate moist sclerophyte forests, less often rainy forests.
