Geography
The influence of sea tides extends 18 km above the mouth to the town of Port Loney . This part of the river is also called the “sea It” as opposed to the “channel Onu” (Port Loney - Pont Trifan), which is part of the Nantes-Brest canal.
At the bend of the river near Landevenek, there is a station for decommissioned vessels awaiting dismantling or participating in training firing of the French Navy.
Hydrography
The He River, like other rivers of Western Brittany , is full of water. Observations of it have been conducted since 1970. The food is mainly rain, the level rises from December to March - 34-51 m³ / s, it is very shallow in summer (with a minimum in August - 2.7 m³ / s), which is a common occurrence for the Breton rivers. The absolute measured minimum was 0.05 m³ / s during the period from October 22 to October 28, 1985.
The relative flow rate of the river is 17.7 liters per second per square kilometer of the basin. The average annual water discharge in the river in Châteauneuf-du-Fau is 21.9 m³ / s [1] .
