Forever Young ( Russian: Forever Young ) - the debut studio album of the German synthpop group Alphaville , was released on September 27, 1984 by the label Warner Music Group .

About the album

The release of the disc was preceded by the release of several singles - “ Big In Japan ” in January, Sounds Like A Melody in May and Forever Young in September , just before the release of the disc . The album sold over 2,000,000 copies. The song Forever Young did not initially become a hit, but has been considered a classic of the 1980s for some time. The vinyl and the cassette were released with 2 different covers: the regular version, this is a one-color photo of the stone face of the sculpture , which is located in Hamburg , the second (only for the English version of the disk) is the cover with the image of Bernhard, Frank and Marian standing on the roof of a residential building in Berlin on Neukölln Urbanstrasse (it is identical to the photograph on the 12 "single Forever Young ). Four large posters and the sticker " Forever Young "were included in some copies of German vinyl albums.
