Title
This crater was discovered on images taken by the Mariner-10 spacecraft in 1974-1975. It is named after the English writers Charlotte (1816–1855), Emily (1818–1848), and Anne Brontë (1820–1849), as well as their brother Brenwell (1817–1848), an artist. The name was approved by the International Astronomical Union in 1976 [1] .
In addition, in honor of the Bronte family, a 200-meter impact crater on the Moon (located at ) [3] [4] .
