Situational games (or situational tests [1] ) are a subset of active socio-psychological training [2] , a method of social training [1] , in which a certain situation is set, and the participants act in accordance with it. Moreover, they must follow both the objective properties of the formulated situation and their subjective ideas about how to act in such situations. In their organization and goals, situational games are similar to role-playing games [2] , but they also have diagnostic value [1] .
The goal of the game is not so much training in specific role-playing behavior as the ability to cope with difficult situations. This method is intertwined with the test for spontaneity, but if the participant interacts with strangers in the test for spontaneity, then the situation is a key factor in a situation game [1] .
The host can offer both individual situations and several situations in a row, combined into a “cascade” or “slalom”, where the same character must solve problems specific to each of the related situations. This approach is often used in training [2] .
The stage of reflection - that is, introspection by the participants in the process of the past game and its results - implies the acquisition by the participants of the experience of living in the corresponding situations without the traumatic effects of these situations, which would be experienced in real life. This is achieved, among other things, by borrowing the experience of other players [2] .
