History
According to legend, Peter the Great was once in the village of the Council. On August 27, 1696, Peter the Great established Trinity Fortress on Cape Taganiy Rog . Then Peter sailed with the fleet along the Sambek River, which flows into the Sea of Azov , then to drag it into the Tuzlov River . A few dozen kilometers from the site of the new fortress, he stopped for a meeting with his retinue in a small village. It is alleged that this village was then called by the Council on his orders.
However, the official version of the foundation is different: it is alleged that the village of Sovet was founded by artillery lieutenant colonel F.I. Ivanov on the land he acquired on January 25, 1793 from the Taganrog commandant I.P. Kasparov. Over the past decade, land owners have changed.
According to the data of May 18, 1896, the village of Sovet was part of the 8th judicial section of the Taganrog district of the Don Don Army Region . In the village at that time there were 84 yards, 282 men and 267 women. In the village there was a church, a public school, there was also a volost government, rural government and other institutions.
In 1922, a commune was formed in the village, in 1930 it was reorganized into an agricultural artel and merged with the Soviet country collective farm “Country of Soviets”.
In 1932-1934, a hospital and a pharmacy were built.
At the moment, the status and boundaries of the municipality Sovetskoye rural settlement are determined by the regional law "On the establishment of borders and are endowed with the corresponding status of the municipality" Neklinovsky district of municipalities in its composition " [2] .
