Ivan Grigoryevich Shariy ( Ukrainian: Ivan Grigorovich Shariy ; November 24, 1957, Poltava , Ukrainian SSR , USSR ) - Ukrainian footballer , striker and coach. Master of Sports of the USSR . Since 2007 - coach of the Children's and Youth Sports School named after Gorpinka (Poltava).

He was the owner of three records of the major league of Ukraine : the oldest player, the oldest debutant and the oldest scorer [1] .

In 2013, goalkeeper Igor Shukhovtsev broke the record for the oldest player, and in 2014, the president and player of the Donetsk “Olympic” Vladislav Gelzin broke the remaining two records. He is also the best scorer of Vorskla (136 goals) after Kovalenko.

In 2009, recognized as the best player of the century in the Poltava region .

Biography

Club career

Pupil of Poltava football. The first trainers - A. Vitkov, I. I. Gorpinko. He began his professional career in the club " Kolos " Poltava. He made his debut at the master level on May 4, 1974 in a match against Zhytomyr Avtomobilist, replacing in the second half. The game took place in Reshetilovka, since the Poltava stadium Kolos was undergoing another reconstruction. Kolos won 3-1. The first goal was scored on May 7, 1974 in Kremenchug with the goal of Vinnytsia Lokomotiv . He later played for Dynamo (Kiev), but he failed to gain a foothold in the main squad, having played only two games for Kiev in the Higher League of the USSR Championship.

But Ivan Shary became famous throughout the USSR , when he played for the Odessa "Chernomorets".

He played for the teams Dynamo (Minsk), Metallurg (Zaporozhye), Nistru (Chisinau). In 1987 he returned to the revived Vorskla. After playing in Poltava for three seasons, he moved to the Bulgarian club " Etar ". In 1991 he moved to Vinnitsa Niva. After the collapse of the USSR, he played for the clubs of the Amateur League , as well as for Kremen, Gornyak-Sport and Vorskla. Bronze medalist of the championship of Ukraine in the 1996/97 season as a part of Poltava. Sharia's farewell match took place on May 1, 2001 at the Vorskla stadium.
