Located in the north of Karelia on the eastern shore of Lake Dyadino, at 7-16 [ specify ] km from the Polar Circle railway station on the St. Petersburg - Murmansk line, 1.5 km from the Kola highway.

History
The Slyudovarakk Muscovite deposit has been known since the 16th century. Bid poles dated 1916 testified to the interest in pegmatite veins that arose during the construction of the Murmansk (now October ) railway.
