Magnus Strong ( Dat. Magnus den Stærke , Swede. Magnus den starke ; 1106 ? - June 4, 1134 ) - Scandinavian ruler, who ruled as the Danish duke in Götaland (c. 1125 - c. 1130 ). He was the son of the Danish king Nils and Margaret Fredkulla , daughter of the Swedish king Inge I.

Biography
He claimed the Swedish throne after the death of Inge II . The Goethe (the then population of Götaland ) elected him their king, but the sveis opposed him, and in 1130 he was expelled from Sweden by the king of the svets Sverker .
Returning to Denmark, Magnus came into conflict with the Duke of Schleswig Knud Lavard and killed him. This assassination provoked a civil war in Denmark, and Fotevik Magnus died in a battle near the bay.
The son of Magnus and Richeza of Poland Knud subsequently also fought for the Danish crown.
