Franchi SPAS-15 is an Italian combat rifle developed by the weapons company Luigi Franchi SpA based on the SPAS-12 design.

Description
The weapon has two shooting modes (pump-action and self-loading). In pump-action mode, reloading is carried out by moving the forearm back. Switching between shooting modes is carried out by pressing the button above the forearm, and moving the forearm slightly forward or backward.
The barrel and receiver are made of stainless steel. The outer surfaces of the metal parts of the weapon are phosphated.
SPAS-15 has a detachable box magazine with single-row arrangement of cartridges. Stores are made of steel with a plastic feeder.
Sights include a front sight with a guard at the front end of the barrel casing and a permanent sight with a triangular slot in front of the carrying handle. The front sight is adjustable in height, the sight in the direction.
The gun was produced in three versions: with a folding and non-folding plastic butt and a folding metal frame butt
Armed
SPAS-15 combat rifles are in service with the Italian army, police and special units of several countries of the world, and is also used as service weapons for security structures and civilian self-defense weapons.
- Italy - in 1999 it was adopted by individual units of the Italian army. In addition, it is allowed for sale as a civilian weapon [1] .
- Latvia - a certain amount was purchased by private security agencies. It is also permitted for sale as a civilian weapon.
- Malaysia - some were purchased
- Portugal [2] .
- Russia - certified as a civilian hunting weapon [3] .
- Serbia - some are in service with the Special Forces Brigade of the Serbian Army [1]
- USA - In 1996, banned the import of SPAS-15, but a small number of guns imported before the ban are still in commercial sale [1]
