The Poltava is a 110-gun sailing battleship of the 1st rank of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia , launched on June 20 ( July 2 ) 1808 at the Kherson shipyard .

Service history
In 1809 the ship "Poltava" was transferred from Kherson to Sevastopol . The ship took part in the war with Turkey of 1806-1812 . In the squadron of Rear Admiral A. A. Sarychev in 1810, “Poltava” cruised in the Black Sea . In June-August 1811, the battleship Poltava at the head of a squadron under the flag of Vice-Admiral R. R. Galla went to cruise in the Varna region - Cape Kaliakria. In 1812, "Poltava" was in Sevastopol, the crew was trained on the ship. After 1812 the ship did not go out to sea. In 1832 in the port of Sevastopol the battleship Poltava was dismantled.
