The length of the river is about 89 km, the basin area is 625 km². The sources of the river are located at an altitude of 1743 m above sea level south of Mount Chinto , then the river flows mainly in the east , after which it flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea .
A river with a winter flood, from December to March, inclusive, a maximum in January-February. The lowest water level in the river in summer, from July to September inclusive.
