In the radio room, the grasshopper fails to send a telegram to his girlfriend Cow, an angry cook continues to chase after him.
Grasshopper gets overboard and in further sailing the ship leaves without it. Kuzya keeps on a life buoy and watches the sea life. The current brings a lifebuoy to Antarctica (in the cartoon its name is changed to Snegarktida) to funny penguins.
