At the end of the 1960s, he started racing at the Can-Am and Trans-Am sports cars, twice finished fourth in the “ 24 hours of Daytona ” and “ 24 hours of Le Mans ” races in 1970. In 1971-72 he played in Formula A, the USAC Championship, twice without much success, he started at the US Grand Prix of the Formula 1 World Championship. He participated in racing sports cars until the end of the 1970s, in 1975 he won the race “ 12 hours of Sebring ”. At the end of his racing career, he worked as a sports commentator on television.
