Career
Among the best achievements of Michael Holt - participation in three quarter finals of ranking tournaments: UK Championship - 1999 , LG Cup - 2003 and Grand Prix - 2005 .
In 2006, Holt won the non-rated Fürth German Open tournament , and the year before was a finalist. In 2007, he won yet another unrated tournament - Dutch Open .
In 2010, Michael won the Pink Ribbon Professional and Amateur Tournament. In the final, he outplayed Jimmy White with a score of 6: 5, making 3 centimeters breaks along the way.
In the same season, Holt submitted to the already low-ranking tournament of the Players Tour Championship series . In the final, he beat John Higgins with a score of 4: 3, and only a victory in the tournament allowed Holt to participate in the final of the series . The fact that Michael was over-motivated is evidenced by the fact that on the way to the finals he beat players such as Stephen Maguire , Jamie Cope , Mark Selby and Sean Murphy [1] . In the final tournament of the series, he reached the quarter finals.
