About the album
In an interview with MTV, Eminem replied that he had sent a letter to Tupak’s mother, Afeni Shakur , asking him to consider his candidacy for producing the album and received consent [1] .
In creating the album, Eminem used an unusual technique of beats , namely, he changed the tempo and pitch of Tupac's voice for better comprehension by the listeners, which was required at that time. DJ Quik , one of the producers of the album, when recording a remix of the song “Loyal to the Game” suggested Afeni Shakur to name the album as Loyal to the Game .
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart with 330,000 copies sold in its first week of sales. [2] Later, the album won the status of platinum in North America and gold in Europe [3] .
