Story
Actions take place in Hong Kong in 2052. The game begins with a screen saver in Chinese hell, in which a certain crowd of undertakers carries a coffin and memorial memorials for a girl named Vi Ming. Right next to them is Ming herself, while conducting her mental monologue. Then the girl stops, and behind her comes a mysterious male silhouette with a knife in her hands. Quietly sneaking up, the mysterious person grabs the young girl and cuts her throat with a knife, after which she falls unconscious.
Flashback starts 24 hours before the prologue events. Hana and Glas get to the Lama building to find their informant Dzin, who has information about the last visit of Mr. Lama's daughter, Vee Ming, which the heroes hunt for to demand from her father a ransom of $ 90 million, which will allow Hana to free herself from contract with the triads and get the long-awaited freedom.
Arriving at the building, Hana heads to the meeting place with Jin, while killing Lama's guards on the way. Having reached the guard room, Hana sees through the camera that Dzina was caught and tortured by Lama’s people in one of the rooms. Hana finds a card from the room where they keep her informant, after which she bursts in there and kills the people of Lama. However, before that, they managed to install the S-4 bomb on Jin, which Khan easily neutralizes. Jin tells Hana that the triad lieutenant took the camera key with his file from him during the capture. The lieutenant bursts in and shoots Jin. Khan runs after him and, killing Lama's people along the way, bumps into him and kills, after which he takes the key. Upon receiving the file from the late informer, Khan was taken by surprise. The voice, meanwhile, sets off after his partner, and he is overtaken by a helicopter, from which he has to flee. Looking up from danger in the air, the Voice falls into the pit. Hearing this noise, Hana was able to escape from captivity, but on the other corner she was overtaken by Mr. Lam and her people. Having fallen on a metal pipe, Glass goes further, but again he runs into a helicopter with the people of Lama. Using Chinese signs, Glas manages to destroy the helicopter engine and it crashes to the ground. Having reached the place where they captured Hana, Glass frees his partner and capturing the enemy helicopter, a couple escapes, grabbing what they came for. At this time, Dick, also a companion of the Voice and Hana, leaves the hotel where his friends from the Lama trap take him with them. In the car, companions watch a Jin file with a video about the possible whereabouts of Vi Ming and discuss further actions. Having solved all the problems, Lama’s people suddenly ram their car and dump them into the river, but friends manage to escape by boarding the boat.
Having sailed to a suburban village, partners notice Vi Ming near the pier, but she immediately disappears. Glass and Dick run after her, and Hana follows a different path while encountering zombie-like villagers. Dick shares with the Voice, he kills several of the thugs and the damned inhabitants. Khan overtakes the army train, which was supposed to bring supplies for the village at that moment. Khan is again captured by one of the soldiers, but Dick saves her, after which he decides to look at the contents of the train. Having reached the carriage with weapons, Dick runs into a kamikaze which he immediately kills. The voice at this time overtakes Vi Ming and she, in turn, makes a deal with him regarding the origin of these strange phenomena. Dick destroys the train so that others can cross to the other side of the river. The heroes reunite again, and take Wi Ming, but she, in turn, asks them to take her to Madame Cheng, since in her opinion she is the only one who can explain all these strange phenomena that occurred here. Heroes without hesitation agree.
Arriving at Madame Cheng’s brothel, Glass and Wi Ming go inside, while Hana and Dick stay outside, as Hana used to be one of Madame Cheng’s prostitutes and not to be recognized. Finding Madame Cheng, Glass and Vi Ming fall into the trap of Cheng and Lama herself, who knew that his daughter would come here. His eyes are locked in a grocery store, but by trick he manages to escape from captivity. Dick, realizing that Glas was captured by the triads, breaks into the brothel through the roof, and Hana enters through the main doors thanks to Glas, where he finds the clothes of the “night butterfly” and sets off in search of Wi Ming. Glas, trying to save Vee Ming from her own father, kills the triads and saves one of the brothel prostitutes, but later he encounters Lam himself and that katana robs his hand. At this time, Dick, having solved many puzzles, gets to the chambers of Madame Cheng, where she kills him and dumps his corpse next to Wi Ming, who immediately unconsciously turns all the prostitutes into demoness. Hana, trying to find and save Wi Ming, encounters these demonesses and easily deals with them. When he reached the freezer, Khan found there a voice hanging on a hook and deprived of his hand, deciding that he was already dead, the girl swears revenge. Having reached the chambers of Madame Cheng, Hana engages in a fight with her, from which she emerges victorious and thereby freeing Wi Ming. Cheng disappears and a giant pit forms in Chinese hell. Vee Ming is going to go there to meet the king of hell Im Lao Wong, as he is her last hope for revealing all the questions regarding her demonic abilities.
Hana and Vi Ming descend to hell, where they are forced to separate as Vi Ming falls off a cliff into a demonic lake and it drags it to the very depths. During a repeated search for Lama’s daughter, Khan again encounters, already chained, Madame Cheng. Cheng asks Han to find her daughter and give her the doll, in return promising to indicate the whereabouts of the lost girl. Hana finds Cheng's daughter, in whom she recognizes her little self at the age of five. Little May Yun (this allip gave Cheng when Hana became her adopted daughter and one of the prostitutes of her brothel), asks to turn the dial, which shows the age of Hana herself (18 years old, 35 years old - maturity and 88 years old). Hana returns to Cheng and she keeps her promise. In the end, the former guardian warns Hana of the power that Im Lao Wong possesses and that he has Vee Ming now and that it will be difficult for her to defeat the "king of hell." At this time, the Voice, which everyone thought was already dead, wakes up in the freezer where Lam left him, and then goes after hell to hell. In hell itself, Glas encounters an enraged ghost of Dick, who accuses him of his death, and then attacks his former partner. After killing Dick in the guise of a demon, the former military vows to avenge his friend. The voice decides to find and kill Vee Ming, since she believes that she is guilty of all the troubles that happened to them from the moment when they hunted her. Actions are again transferred at the time of the prologue, when a group of undertakers carries the coffin and memorial memorials of Vee Ming, and the girl herself walks next to them. Hana finds a girl, but then she notices a mysterious male silhouette with a knife in her hands that approaches the girl and cuts her throat. Hana runs to the girl to help, but the girl falls into shock, as the mysterious man who killed Vi Ming turned out to be considered, at that moment, dead, Glass. Hana asks her partner why he did this, to which the former military replies that Wi Ming is the fault of all their troubles, including the death of Dick. At this moment, Vee Ming rises, thereby it becomes clear that she is immortal. Glas is about to shoot the possessor of demonic forces again, but Khan herself points her gun at Glas, thereby believing that Wi Ming is not guilty and that she needs help. A tension hangs between the partners, from which they are going to shoot each other, but they suddenly teleport to different places. Hana again, having split off from Vee Ming, gets out of the room and finds Dzina, who considered him dead. Jin admits that he is Im Lao Wong, also known as the king of hell. To them, Lao Wong tells Hana the whole truth that Wi Ming was created by him, made of paper and burned in a fire to revive like other demons. The king of hell planned to recreate “hell on earth,” so he made a deal with Lam and made him rich, so that with the help of the abilities of Vee Ming and the gift of the mentor of Hana, he would take the whole world under his own control. Wi Ming asks Hana to help her return to where she was created, while Glas still intends to kill Wi Ming in order to destroy the root of evil and put an end to all this madness. Old partners again take up the weapon and aim it at each other.
Later, the player is given a choice of one of the three endings. The first two endings: the Voice side and the Hana side, are accessible from the very beginning. Third ending: compromise side, available when passing at a high level of difficulty.
Ending 1: The Voice Side . The voice kills Hana, after which she begins the battle with Wi Ming, who in turn completely turns into a demon. After much effort, Glas defeats the enemy, after which the girl turns into paper origami. (If Glass dies, Vee Ming fully assumes his demonic nature and begins to draw up a plan to control the world starting with Madame Cheng’s brothel.) After a hard battle and killing a partner, Glas takes the origins of Vie Ming and leaves the ruins of the brothel.
Ending 2: The side of Hana . Khan kills the Voice, after which he begins the battle with Lam, whom Im Lao Wong turned into a demon. Using paper bills, Hana burns them and thereby weakening the power of Lama. (If Hana loses the battle, she will be influenced by the king of hell. She will kill civilians in order to strengthen the capabilities of Vi Ming and recreate hell on earth.) After defeating Lam, Hana shoots Im Lao Wong's head and thereby helps Wi Ming return to her place of rebirth. After leaving hell, Hana leaves the burning brothel of the late Madame Cheng and heads for Rain.
Ending 3: The compromise side . Hana and Glass decide to forget about the differences and thereby join forces to help Vi Ming and defeat the King of Hell. The voice guards Vee Ming while she returns to the place of her appearance, and Khan thereby begins the battle with Lam. Together, the heroes succeed. Before disappearing, Vee Ming said that all the sacrifices they made would not be in vain, and that she would never forget what they had done for her. Im Lao Wong is furious after Khan ruined his plans, but Glas shoots him, after which the king of hell falls into the abyss, thereby causing an earthquake. Hana and Glass get out of Chinese hell back to the ruins of Madame Cheng's brothel, where they are happily greeted by a resurrected Dead Dick. the Eye also notices that his hand, which Lam cut off to him, has recovered. Hana thus motivates that Wi Ming kept her promise and that their efforts were not in vain. All three heroes leave the brothel ruins together, going to meet at sunrise.
