Biography
Club career
Pupil of Tbilisi Dynamo . He played in the team from 1993 to 1998 and spent 120 matches and scored 32 goals. In 1998 he moved to the German club Freiburg . At that time, his compatriots, Levan Kobiashvili and Alexander Iashvili, played in the team.
In May 2005, he signed an agreement with Donetsk Metallurg [2] . However, he did not stay long in the team - after spending only three matches in the championship, he moved to the German Wolfsburg .
Later he played for the Greek Panionios and the Georgian Lokomotiv from Tbilisi. Although he could go to the Dutch AZ [3] , the German Kaiserslautern [4] and the English Birmingham City [5] .
On February 1, 2009, he signed a contract with Veen Wiesbaden [6] . The contract was calculated until June 30, 2010.
Team Career
He made his debut in the Georgian national team on June 7, 1995 in a match against Wales . Tskitishvili is one of the most experienced players in the Georgian national team, he spent 58 matches and scored 1 goal. Levan was the team captain in the match against Italy (2-0).
