Triton (core)

Triton - the nucleus of the tritium atom, is designated3H {\ displaystyle \ mathrm {{^ {3}} H}} {\ displaystyle \ mathrm {{^ {3}} H}} ort {\ displaystyle \ mathrm {t}} {\ displaystyle \ mathrm {t}} . Consists of one proton and two neutrons . Weight 3.01550 a. e. m. = 2809.303 M eV (less than the mass of the neutral tritium atom per mass of one electron ). It is used as a bombarding particle in charged particle accelerators . Beta-radioactive with a half-life of about 12 years, turns into a helion .
