In total, in the body of an adult, there are about 230 different types of cells [1] . This list includes cells that are present in the body of an adult. Not included are cells of embryonic tissues and tumor cells, as well as other types of pathologically altered cells. Some cells are included in several categories if their origin does not correspond to localization (for example, osteoclasts are modified macrophages that function as part of bone tissue).
